Walton Movies are good as the series
I love the Waltons tv series & didn't even know they had made movies! They are really good & just like watching the show, except everyone(except Mary Ellen & Elizabeth)are older & fatter! LOL But still great entertainment, & always has a great ending with the family coming thru together. They're all better off financially & things are getting more modern, better cars(they even get a woody side station wagon!)& everyone is grown up. A great escape from todays news.

5 great movies, 1 not so great movie
The product itself is great. I’ve always loved this series; the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the last movie “A Waltons Easter” was poorly researched and made, filled with glaring inaccuracies. The worst of these was John-Boy anchoring a broadcast of the moon landing on the parents’ 40th anniversary. This would put their wedding date as 1929. The show was set in the 1930s. This Walton 3 DVD with 6 episodes was one I will always cherish.
The actors in the DVD are so good at playing their parts it is hard to believe they are not all a real family in true life instead of portraying the real family. It was hard to stop watching one episode after another without stopping. It was much better than I expected and I didn't want it to end. I wish their had been even more episodes to watch.
