Amazing!
Best pruning saw I’ve ever bought. Great quality. Very sharp. Used for sawing down all sorts of trees of various widths. Impressed with how much it could handle. The hook is a great feature too, enables you to saw with ease and less worry as blade stays nicely over the branch. Highly recommended.

Blade OK watvh which handle you buy
Blade itself is good quality and cuts well. Watch the handle you buy with it though as the one they sent me didnt fit. This blade has a later type fitting so if you have other products from Wolfgartem the handle wont fit.

Good quality, efficient tool
I need to lop big bits off the trees in my garden every year and wish I had got this saw years ago when I first bought the long, extendable Wolf Garten pole and anvil loppers. The saw enables me to tackle thicker branches than the loppers can manage and to reach a bit higher. You just have to be careful to judge where the heavy branches the saw can amputate are going to fall, so wearing a hard hat is advisable. Practise on smaller stuff first; I went straight for a big branch high up, got the saw stuck in the cut about three-quarters through and had to free it by hand, rather precariously, up a long ladder. The saw seems very well made and cuts very efficiently as long as there's nothing in the way to prevent smooth, back-and-forth movement. I got the more expensive professional saw with the branch hook on the end, which is very useful. It also has something called a bark cutter but I have no idea how it's supposed to be used, so some guidance on the pack would be helpful.

Excellent tool very capable of doing what it was designed to do. Well made and good quality. Would buy again with no hesitation.
Had a weekend using saw, already had a 220-400cm extension so purchase with smaller 90-150cm extension. Used it mainly cutting a very overgrown and not cut for 4 years conifer hedge. Cutting small and thick branches 4 inches plus in thickness and handled everything as required, used without extension and with both extensions, even extended to 400cm to get into hedge. Definitely purchase again. My tools are used hard and this handled it all in its stride. Excellent purchase.

Very useful, but split
The only product for out of reach branches if, like me, you can't climb ladders, so brilliant in that respect, and I can saw quite large branches with it - even though I'm not very strong. Would be a doddle for someone fitter. However, mine developed a split after a few weeks. I think it is good quality, but not terribly strong - or perhaps I was just unlucky. I opted for a replacement instead of a refund, as it is so useful. This is all very recent, but replacement has been OK so far. Coupled with the price of the extending pole, it does work out at nearly £60 though, so it is expensive if you are not going to use the pole for any of the other Wolf Garten multi tools.

Brilliant easy to use
it's our second saw of this type. Absolutely brilliant for cutting high branches safely. Our first one did go blunt but only after hundreds and hundreds of branches. Would definitely recommend.

Pole mounted tree saw
Purchased this tree saw to clip on to the extendable wolf garden pole which I already had . Together they make an easy to use and effective tree saw for cutting high thin branches up to about 40mm diameter and 5m high that e.g. Are fouling overhead telephone cables, or to clean up the branch shape of a tree.

Sharp, easy to use and long warranty.
Incredibly sharp saw, makes light work of all pruning and general tree work. Just remember that it cuts on the pull stroke. Great quality and 35 year warranty, a tool for a lifetime's use.

The Gardenator - hasta la vista, big-tree!
This is a fiendish-looking garden tool! I am using it at the end of a Wolf-Garten 4m extending pole and it does the business. Give it a few gentle forward- and backward slices to get going and it cuts like the ripsaw it is. Takes less than a couple of minutes to despatch 6" boughs that are at height and moving about.

A great pruning saw
I have had other pruning saws, but this is in a different league - very sharp, and very effective. When used with the Wolf-Garten extendable handle it makes light work of tree branches.. I love it.
