Piking for 35 years plus and had a lot of landing nets over the years so I thought I would buy this snapper one and give that try. The shape put me of a but but when I got it the first thing I thought of was any pike or zander I catch would fit in this no problem. So any one looking to buy a new net I would recommend as there is just as much room in this as a standard 42inch triangle net. Don't let the shape put you off a very good product. The only thing i would say is get the metel landing net handle to go with it a lot better then the carbon ones but the carbon ones would do the job just as well, a lot easer to carry and fold down to go through tight swims. which a 42inch net you would have to pull through or take apart, so yes i would recommended this net 100%
A very strong and large ideal net for pike fishing. The rubber neting does not snag the pike's teeth. It is heavy and don't try to sue a normal coarse handle, it is too heavy for them. Especially DON'T use the Korum telescopic net. I bought one at the same time and it snapped at the end first time of use, too flimsy.
