If these are good curlers, can't imagine what the rest are like.
I can only imagine that the people who love these rollers have hair that takes a curl very easily. Mine does not. And when I tried it with a variety of hair pieces (high quality Remy hair) the curls were not long lasting, no matter how long I left the rollers in. I don't think they're nearly as effective as those heavy old Clairol setters with the pointy knobs and the metal clips which you can probably only buy in thrift stores nowadays. Maybe you remember them -- if your ear happened to bump hot metal hollow inside them you got scorched. They're certainly inferior to a good curling iron. Presumably, the damage is less with these rollers -- nonexistant, like the curls. Apart from the inefficacy, the design is flawed. They don't click into place in the heating unit. If you should store it on its side or move it in a matter that isn't level they will shift out of position and if you fail to notice before you turn it on again, the clips melt into a gummy black mess. Also, the lid is flimsy -- the little bits where the clear acrylic slides into the base are apt to snap and when they do, you'll have to reposition it every time you open and close the lid. I didn't think it was that big a deal but if you don't close it every time you remove a curler to use it the remainder don't stay as hot as they would have. I don't know if the quality of high end rollers is any better but if so, I'm guessing the difference may be worth it. I have no doubt that if your hair takes a curl easily or if you're trying to loosen your natural waves rather than add some, these might do the job -- particularly if you're a girly-girl and have lots of styling products and pins on hand. I mean, the good news is, they don't burn your ears and they don't make 'roller bumps.' But even then, I wouldn't bother with these unless I had a dedicated dressing area table or vanity where they could sit out, without having to put them away -- especially if kids are going to use them. By the time I bought these, there had already been many reports about how easy it is to melt the clips so I took care whenever I put them away ... but there's not a big color difference and you're looking at them through a shiny plastic cover. If you move them around, at some point you'll slip up and they'll melt.

Great for long hair.
Yes good product, good value, good quality. Can't use they did not mention that ALL the rrollers were very large, for long hair.

Great product - if you get the brown red hair clips, don't get the pink ones
Terrific product - heats up in 5 mins, heat holds well while in your hair. Be sure to order the heated clips which are brownish red, they hold your hair in place. The pink heated clips are rubbish, they fall off quickly.

Curls my impossible to curl hair!
Curls my hair which is almost impossible to curl. I love it. Rolls out easily without tangling my hair. I recommend it.
