Supplied with calibration certificate Reversible ratchet head. The in-lb and Nm scale is engraved on the barrel of the wrench. The micrometer type sleeve allows accurate preset torque values to be set. When torque is reached the wrench produces an audible click and a release of tension. Marked range: 10 - 80Nm and 88.5-708in-lb. Supplied in blow mould storage case.

Draper 3/8 Torque Wrench
I already own a full size 1/2 AF Britool torque wrench but needed something with a lower range for use on my motorcycle. The tool itself is well made at a competitive price plus a make I have heard of. I have a few tools made by Draper that I found to be very useful. It might seem like an odd criticism but the wrench just seems to be quite short in length - I knew its size when I ordered it but didn't realise that even on mid range settings it needs quite some force to work before the ratchet clicks when you reach the setting. The consequence of this is that you are working close to the engine when using it - I wish it was another 6- 9 inches or so longer to give it the leveridge. No toolbox should be without one
These are a quality set of torque wrenches as you would expect from Draper. They cover all the settings you would generally need for any engine or DIY project that requires torque settings. Good for general work at higher torques but would not trust on precise work at lower torques.
It's a reasonable tool for not very precise work performs better at higher torque values, on precise work where you need to set exact torques I would not recommenced this tool. It is difficult to know the point of the correct torque setting as the set point indication is very vague, the click is not clear that's if you can hear or feel it at all and it does take time to get used to it. This has been mentioned by a number of users, at higher torques it is better. It is very easy to over torque at lower settings. I did not have confidence in this tool for tightening spark plugs. If you are tightening at lower settings I would say that you should under toque and workup to the correct value in small step to avoid over torqueing but really you should not have to do this. On the face of it is a reasonably priced torque wrench, but an expensive mistake considering that you cannot have confidence at lower settings. Very good tools.

Draper small reversible torque wrench
