"you caught me at a bad time"
This and 'fear and loathing in last vegas' are my favourite books (FaL film is also great) I actually read this in a day! I was curious as to how it ends, hadn't helped my friend loaned me the dvd wanted it back and I went "READ it FIRST!" I read it in a day and was amazed at the details and imagery that I was conjuring up. And I kept reading the classic lines which people now know and writing them down in a ''remember that..'' way. I then watched it and actually prefer the book! 9 times of 10 I do anyway but love film it's cast of Ed Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter are great! Great book, great condition
I wanted to read Fight Club for a while, and I was so glad to find it at such a reasonable and cheap price here. The condition of the book was great, the front cover had a crease running through it, but a little wear and tear is expected with well-loved books. Otherwise it was top-notch. The content was as a good as I'd expected, a great book to read if you're already a fan of the movie, or even if you're not! Chuck Palahniuk's writing style is certainly different, but it added to the feel and atmosphere of the story. Watch the film 50 times. Read the book just once (it's all you need). Remember the rules of Fight Club.
The book is like new so excellent value. Will be passed on to my lads to read. I've seen Fight Club the film many times and it's possibly my favourite movie. The book is so close to the screenplay that it's spooky at times (considering the book came first). I can't help picturing Norton, Pitt and Bonham-Carter as the characters in the book. The casting for the film was absolute genius. Start you own Project Mayhem. Remember, it's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything, and, don't ask any questions.
