Simple and quick food.
Nigella is a simplistic cook. She tells of shortcuts you can take and how to use leftovers. Her recipes are inspiring. Even food you have cooked before gets a new twist on it in this book. Brilliant

Mixed bunch
Everyone has a different opinion on what constitutes good reciepe content this personally was a mixed bunch, and like all cookery books some dishes they do not appeal. All recipes are quite simple, and to me a lot were what I call cheats, using ready prepared ingredients and some items not available in our local supermarket IE jars of caramelised opinion and a special steak sauce.
