Good item. There is more spitfire histor...
Good item. There is more spitfire history than I was expecting. I thought it would be like the owner's workshop manuals that are available for cars and, while it would not be realistic that I would ever own a spitfire, it would have been more interesting to me. I was initially attracted to the book because the idea of a Haynes workshop manual for a spitfire amused me, but the contents of the book are not the same as the typical Haynes manuals.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Haynes Supermarine Spitfire Owners Manual
This is quite a good book but there are a lack of detail photographs. In this respect it is nothing like as good as the Hawker Hurricane Owners Manual by the same publisher. Great manual of a flying icon!
Great manual! Have been wanting to get hold of this manual for some time. My Grandfather helped to build Merlin aero engines for Rolls Royce and aeroplanes like the Spitfire during WW2, so to gain some insight into a little of what he did through this book will be fascinating.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
