Great series
Watching this series again brings back a lot of good memories, both in regards to the show itself and "real life". In the tradition of Twilight Zone and more contemporary shows like Tales From the Crypt, it features dark, sinister story lines featuring monsters and monstrous people. The most important thing though is that the show was fun, was meant to be enjoyed without too much analytical interpretation. Great series.

Great series, Wish it Had Subtitles on all Seasons
This series is an excellent addition to any lover of campy/cheesy horror stories in the vein of Tales from the Crypt (this series actually predates it). The only con I noticed was that only the final season had subtitles available. Hard of Hearing people may have a difficult type being able to listen to the actual episodes due to the lack of subtitles. All in all, great product.

Gets you what you need but nothing special
It's cool to have the whole series but some things was lacking. The boxset is just the 4 seasons individually. It woulda been nice if they came in a slip case to hold all 4 together. More special features weren't expected but that woulda been nice. And the image quality is pretty bad. I own this, The New Twilight Zone, and Friday the 13th: The Series and they all look bad. CBS don't care about these releases.

Cheesy 80's Tele Horror 💀 👍 ⚰
This show brings back fond memories of when i was a kid in the 80's! I used to spend the night at friends houses and we'd stay up late (For Us) to watch this show. Granted for today's standards it would be laughed at and ridiculed but for the 80's it was quite popular. This is the ORIGINAL and not the newer Tales From the Darkside. I'd say that this show is okay for ages 6 & Up as it's not really that graphic and it's more funny than freaky. The executive producer of this show is George Romero which is quite well known nowadays! Totals 4 seasons which include 90 episodes of wicked stories with a twist. 💀 Some special features include..... Audio commentary with George Romero, "On Air with George Romero" featurette, and 2 bonus episodes from the production company that brought you Tales From the Darkside: "Akhbar's Daughter" and "Attic Suite". A reality from a dark place that not as brightly lit! Enjoy

I like the shows and their not always on cable so this set was perfect and its arrived in great condition.

Classic series!
This has been one of my favorite tv series since the 80's. Production value and stories can be chinsy at times but the classic episodes and remarkable intro make up for the bad stories.
