Still great after 20 years. More like Gen Fun!
My original review got deleted so I can't go into much detail, sorry. This game is fantastic! I grew up on Gen 3 (FireRed\LG, Ruby\S\E) and wasn't sure I'd appreciate Red, but I've been loving every hour of it. Exploring Kanto is very fun and catching\battling Pokemon is just as thrilling as ever. Newer Pokemon fans may notice that you can't run, but once you have the bike it's not too big of an issue. The game's many glitches also offer an interesting experience. Missingno. and the "Mew trick" may be the most famous, but there's a lot of other odd things to discover and try out, too. Just like any other Pokemon game, it has its ups and downs, and is very enjoyable in its own right. The main caveat of buying this game in 2018, however: as always, you can't get all 150+1 Pokemon legitimately without trading between games, and good luck finding someone else near you in real life who plays Gen 1.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Good buy

The original and the battery still works.
Pokemon has been a franchise that's been going on for over 20 years. The original Red and Blue is where it started in the US and despite it being rereleased for the 3DS I still like to play it on my Game Boy sometimes. Perfect! 10 out of 10!
I have been wanting to get a hold of this game for forever! The save works, it's not glitchy or anything (not sure if that's possible)! I was super worried about ordering one online cause I didn't want to get burned, but I couldn't ask for better condition at this price! The game does save but is obviously not an original nintendo board (i.e no save battery) My only gripe is the cartridge case has some noticeable wear and the sticker wasn't properly placed. So not exactly "new" but close enough for what it is. There is minor holographic to the sticker, which is a nice touch. Shipping was decent, the item came padded and in a protector case.
