My PC is now rebuilt with P7P55D- ELX motherboard
The motherboard arrived with a dead BIOS battery, I replaced it with a battery previously purchased from the merchant. This past weekend spent the time rebuilding my Desktop with purchased motherboard and new CPU & heatsink fan unit. I'm using the rebuilt PC to write this review. As you can see everything is OK. P7p55d e lx
Memory is working good, but having problems with Sata 6. Also some mouse erratic issues which might indicate a hardware issue. In four days running i have reinstalled windows 4 times to try and get working properly. I will work with this motherboard another week or so before giving up. First mobo that actually failed on me
Yes it does all the things its supposed to do, but after 3 or 4 years it actually FAILED on me. All a sudden it stopped working, and when I turned it back on after removing a few components to trouble shoot, one of the chips on it started glowing red and just smoked and didn't turn back on. I have used Asus as a Mobo for about 2 decades, and that was a first. In the description it say that 2 serial cable will be coming in I got only one, that is why I give only 3 stars, other then that all is fine
