The Pilot ALONE was worth the entire price!
The pilot episode of Dan August “House on Greenapple Road” was INCREDIBLE ~i must have watched it ten times already! With an unbelievable star~studded cast, featuring Janet Leigh, it grabs you IMMEDIATELY & for 1970 especially is spooky as heck! i had no idea it was included, let alone existed!!! All the Burt Reynolds episodes are great, too.

No captions made it very difficult
We surely would have enjoyed the shows BUT the lack of captions made it quite a hardship to watch. The sounds went from whispers to full blown SHOUTING. It was very annoying to my wife's neighbors in her facility. One minute you had to crank the sound up to hear the soft talking/whispers, then suddenly a loud scene blew the rafters off the place. Very stressful watching. Too bad. Captions would have made ALL the difference.

Good DVD for Burt Reynolds Fans
The late, great Burt Reynolds had a style all his own and it showed in his films and his tv shows. Dan August was a perfect series for the athletic action actor as Burt. He was in his prime during this time and Burt Reynolds fans will appreciate the series.

I was too young to watch it when it aired. I enjoyed watching the series. I like shows from the 60s and 70s to remember what things were like back again.
