My impression
Finally, after 30+ years, my favorite Saturday morning cartoon is available on DVD! There must be a Gen X'er working in the classic cartoon vault to bring these important cartoon's that shaped a generation back into the light! The DVD episode's are not re-mastered and over engineered for color and clarity. There are some variances here and there, but to me, it's PERFECT - just how I remember them as a kid! The musical score is like an old friend, unique and never gets old. I love this DVD. It seem's every silly, big eye'd, weird, computer generated, cartoon character of today is available immediately to the public, yet the more interesting, "moral of the story" (and superior old school artistry) cartoons of the past are barely being "rediscovered" or available as a complete sets. Let's help change that with purchasing power and interest! I'm waiting anxiously for the rest of the season's to be released. My children LOVE Tarzan, and other classics I have in my house. You can't beat a timeless classic! FILMATION LIVES!

Stories were real good , different than ...
Stories were real good , different than the movies, more akin to ERB ‘s books. Would’ve liked to get all 4 series 36 epasoades on dvd. I hear there is a blue ray with season 1 on blue ray and season 2 3 ,4 copyed from vhs to blue ray though at a poorer quality. All good.

Brought back good memories. Nostalgia was my big reason.
It's not remastered, video quality isn't great, but not so bad I couldn't enjoy it.

Animation Ahead of its Time!
I had fond memories of this show, and how smoothly our cartoon hero moved through the jungle. I think I watched it as an adolescent, and noticed how great the animation was, way better then anything else on TV at that time. Now having purchased this on DVD and looked at it again, it is still very good even by today's standards, but nothing we would "write home about" nowadays. The storylines and humor/ danger are pretty formulaic (love the old Johnny Quest!), but considering all the questionable content on TV today, these episodes are decent content for kids and adults alike! Highly recommended.

Most True Adaptation of Tarzan
As a Tarzan aficionado and scholar I feel this adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs immortal character is by far the most true to the books than any other movie or show. True it has some childish moments, but the characterizations, ape language and such are right from the books. Great series. Wish they could get all the seasons out.

Great Cartoon - Nostalgia
just like what I remember when I was a kid watching it on Saturday mornings. Had to get it to have my kids watch a good wholesome cartoon.

Great DVD at a great price
The DVD is in perfect like conditions for being used. I used to watch the series when I was a kid, and this DVD took me back to my childhood.

Excellent. Brings back memories.
03/19 Right on time as promised. I havent opened it yet, but Im sure (?) its what I expected. 3/20 After opening the package, Not originally what I thought, they're burned CDs but they'll work.

Cool
Picture quality is very good. The only thing I don't like is that there are no commercial bumpers, like I have on my other copies.
