Classic movie with great bonus features
Great version and the extra disc of bonus materials are wonderful.

Close Encounted still great 48 years later.
It's a classic and this 40th Anniversary Edition contains 3 different versions of the film, including the director's cut, which eliminates a bunch of useless filler footage and adds stellar moments cut from the original. Love it !

Blu-Ray is the way to go
I thought the original DVD was good, but this Blu-Ray is so much better, and additional scenes make the movie all that much better. It great.

NIce movie for the year it was made!
This was made before Computer animation was used. For it's day it was a good movie. Especially since I recently visited Devils Tower where it was filmed
