ESSENTIAL TOOL!
Love this tool! A breaker bar is one of those tools you can not do without and the AK730 from Sealey is a quality bit of kit. It feels top notch, well made and machined, and the knuckle is rock solid. I have used my bar non stop since buying it and last night put it to probably it`s toughest challenge, the HUB NUTS on my MG ZS front wheels. I struggled. I pulled, pushed, strained, jumped, bounced, swore, shouted, heaved and sweated. Eventually the nuts gave way just before my back and I got them cracked. Throughout it all the Sealey AK730 showed no sign of stress. I think it would be me that snaps LONG before the bar!!! Tommy bar
My old bar had seized up, along with few larger impact sockets, so after reading about this I bought it and was pleasantly surprised how quickly it arrived, not boxed but had a few layers of bubble wrap so was well protected, It’s a great tool and really good quality, it’s also a very ergonomic tool which seems to sit just right in the hand and is an optimal length for the task, I needed to reach 140nm, and was surprised that I only had to move the torque wrench a bit to reach my torque settings, It’s a great tool and I recommend this highly.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Handle snapped off straight away!
I thought a well known & trusted brand would be a good choice and it did look like good quality when I received it. However, on it's first use, loosening cylinder head bolts, the handle snapped off cleanly with no warning at the point where the bar diameter narrows down. Looks as if it has been through hardened which has left the metal brittle. Glad I had gloves on as it cut right through them. On this basis clearly I couldn't recommend this or call it good value. A must for every car!
These are superb and excellent value, I've bought one for both our cars, my wife having suffered a blown front tyre recently and had to summon the AA to deal with it because the wheelnuts were so tight. A breaker bar is probably essential to shift the wheelnuts on most cars now, when they've been properly tightened, but is much cheaper than a 12 volt impact driver!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A professional's tool.
Loosening those stubborn wheel nuts are a breeze using this tool, that extra bit of length gives you so much more purchase, there is no need to exert yourself, just gently lean on the bar and it moves no problem, the same goes for tightening. Excellent piece of kit

This is quite frankly a brilliant alternative to the standard item that comes with the car. The extra length of this item makes it so much easier to loosen those stubborn bolts - just be careful not to over tighten them. Straight away the quality is apparent.
