Does its job simply and clearly
This is a great little tester, simple but effective. The combination of LEDs on the front illustrate any faults that are found in the wiring of the socket it's plugged into, and these faults are clearly labelled below the LEDs. It might not have all the bells and whistles of other similar testers, but this is more of a DIY product, and of course that's reflected in the price. All-in-all I'd highly recommend it.

When it comes to safety you can't mess about. Kewtech are THE standard.
Kewtech are the go-to standard for mains socket testing - something you can't mess about with. I know there are lots of different sorts on the market but I really couldn't risk anything other than the best. I found this very easy to use and simply unwrapped it and plugged it into a new socket for the requisite test. I don't do this everyday so its handy to have some thing reliable and safe to check my work when I do.

Safe and convenient way to quickly help test mains sockets. The combination of the visual indicators with the bleeper make it a quick and easy way to check the safety of mains wiring. Seems study enough to survive life in a tool box as well.

Great tester with audio (unknown feature to my suprise)
Needed a new socket tester, well priced and well reviewed online. Delivery was next day! Great start! Tested on house sockets and found it also gives an audio output house- like a beep to confirm all is good. Top quality at a low price

Works Perfectly. The dull grey colour is...
Works Perfectly. The dull grey colour is the only downside, as it can easily get lost among my tools and equipment. I fixed it with bright yellow duct tape.

Cost effective earth tester
I bought this tester because it was cheap, bu,t when I tested some newly installed sockets, it identified an earth fault. It turned out to be an earth connection that was gripping the insulation, not the conductor. It did a necessary job well for me at a good price.

Electric Socket Tester
