Good Product but could be better
Wireless range is very limited. Can not connect an external antenna to the router. Had a Rosewill RX-N4PS 802.11 N 2.0 wireless router for the past 6 years or so and it worked fine. I used another identical Rosewill unit as a repeater and I could get good signal some 120 feet away in my large backyard. I bought this Arris unit hoping to get better and reliable wireless signal. Within the house the signal is okay, no worse than my old Rosewill. Tried to use one of my old Rosewill router as a repeater. It works for a few minutes and then it disconnects. Tried several times but ended up with the same issue. It may not be the fault of the new (Arris) router. You can not connect an external antenna to this Arris router. The antenna is built in and is contained inside the box. That is could be part of the reason for the limited wireless range. May be they want you to buy another unit and use it as a range extender. As for the seller, the product was well packaged and arrived on time.

Tese lil things are great
Always loved the modem router combo. This one does exactly what I need it to and has the capacity to handle the speeds coming into my place at a perfect price.

Great modem
I bought this modem because my previous one couldn't handle multiple devices. The biggest downside I have noticed is that even though it can handle all of my devices, it does tend to drop the viewing quality of streaming movies and shows. It doesn't buffer, only drops to a lower resolution. Overall I am pleased.

A great value for the price
The router is easy to set up and use. It offers great coverage and is very compatatiable with my Xfinity internet service.

Some Bugs but Works
Had some problems Had call trouble shooting desk. Password was preset. Doesn't always find devices -ie IPhones., desktop could accept cable connection(?). Must use WIFI connection. Have not noticed improvement over previous model that this replaced.

The ARRIS SBG10 SURFboard AC1600 Dual-Band Cable Modem Router
Works perfectly. It came as advertised. Easy set up. Average wifi signal strength. If you have a large house, you might need a signal booster to go from one end of the house to the other. Happy with purchase.

Good after a few tweaks!
We got it set up as a cable replacement to hi-speed phone cable internet and were very happy it was compatible with the cable service. We did have to make some extensive adjustments to provide acceptable Wi-Fi for all areas of our home where we were expecting a good connection.

Wonderful Wifi...Incredible Internet
This was exactly what I was looking for. I was having wifi problems on my cell phone. This is the first time I've used a cable modem / wifi router combo. I solved two problems by getting this item. Great wifi connection for my cell phone, and I am able to stream on my televisions. Highly recommended !

Very basic product-too basic for simple household
Bought this product to use with Xfinity cable and tv. Product was difficult to set up - and could not add my older Dell laser printer because it did not have a wps button. Signal in house was also weak. Returned it because it did not meet my minimum needs. It may work for someone in a studio apartment with no accessories like a wireless printer.
