This should be mandatory
Pound technologies ps2 hmdi converter is like something out of a dream. It's so simple yet it's able to produce outstanding results. Coming with the core box itself a sizeably long micro USB cable which you can plug into your console to generate power to it and an extra HDMI cable I'm FINALLY able to enjoy playing my ps2 on my 4k tv without having to literally sit in front of my TV. This is great cuz my TV doesn't have av ports so this helps ALOT

Turns standard def PS2 into a new HD experience
Buy this right now. Plug and play option to make MVP Baseball 2005 seem like a brand new game. Amazing how much better the quality is instantly. Includes easy to follow instructions.

The way to return to nostalgia or experience old school for the first time!
I don't normally do reviews on Ebay (this is my first one actually!) but I just had to for this. This right here is some amazing technology! I recently wanted to hook up my PS2 and play it again but I realized something when I tried, most modern TVs including my 55" Samsung, do not have the old RGB A/V outputs anymore. Even if it did the picture may not be so great because of how low res the SD output of the pre-HDMI consoles were. This cable fixes all of that! It not only converts that output from the original source through HDMI to connect it to a modern TV, it actually upscales the image quality to 720p! What this means is since the picture is running in HD, you can then go into your TV settings and adjust the picture to fit the screen in 16:9 without stretching the image! This allows to fill the full screen of a modern UHDTV/HDTV with an image that is not only crisper and nicer than the original console output, but still able to fill the screen without 4:3 with those annoying black bars or stretching the image to make it ugly! I am absolutely happy with this link cable and I hope more old school gamers or gamers wanting to experience the retro consoles find and use these link cables! They are absolutely amazing quality and I would recommend them to any gamer! See below a picture of Dirge Of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII for PS2 running in all it's glory on a Samsung 55" 4k UHDTV.

Excellent Inexpensive Plug and Play Solution
It's the best plug and play solution for playing classic PS1 and PS2 games for the price. Don't expect the level of quality from much more expensive options but for anyone who is just getting back into classic gaming and doesn't have the cash or the desire to purchase additional cables that are required for some of the other products out there, you can't ask for more. The Included HDMI and Micro-USB cable were a great surprise and a wonderful value add!

Works great. Does exactly what it says claims.
This product is godsend. PS2 slim hooked up to a big name mid-range 4K TV that lacks composite and component inputs (HDMI only). Other cheap adapters can't handle 240i games, this can with ease. And honestly, for 20 year old games, it looks darn good. They give you generously long USB and HDMI cables. Just change your console video setting to RGB and you're off to nostalgia land.

Works with a RGB modded Nintendo 64
Upscales 240p and 480i games to 720p. I would use the micro USB cable anyway just in case. Just plug the USB cable into your USB port on your TV. Picture looks much better.

A HD link cable that works!
I hooked this HD link cable to my PS2 and to my 60" HD tv. The picture and sound are great. I could not be happier! Just plug it in and it works! I highly recommend Pound Technologies products!
