Chip programming at a reasonable price
Reads a variety of chips and has more features than expected. Great device great software
Nice device; it does what's intended very well and fast. I would've given a 5 star but getting to the site wasn't a problem, but downloading the correct software was a bit tricky. Why? During the process the prompts went back to Chinese and not English. I therefore had to take a chance and click the prompts though I couldn't read the Chinese, and was hoping it would download the English version: it did. Other than that the software works great!!! The device works great!!! Just fix the issue where it shows Chinese instead of English during the download process. Excellent bang for buck
Solidly-built, with shockingly reliable software. Handles all manner of ICs, including RAM, (EE)PROM, microcontrollers, etc. So many devices, so little time!! Do watch out for clones. Auto Electric, the Chinese company that makes these, says the older versions (TL866A and CS) are long out of production and not supported by current software. That means those devices won’t be able to use any ICs introduced in the last several years, assuming the old version of the software runs at all. If you’re a home hobbyist needing an EEPROM programmer/boot loader burner, this is for you. It’s probably OK for low-volume commercial use as well (Auto Electric certainly thinks so). Great programmer
My old programmer died and the PC that I use for it is getting harder to find since it required a parallel printer port. This unit uses a USB port for control and power. The software and driver is in Chinglish but you can figure out how to install it if you read the installation document. Works well!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

So Many Uses!
I've already used this for so much more than I bought this for. Originally got it for EEPROM flashing, have used it to program PIC microcontrollers and test a grab bag of all sorts of 74 series logic chips. It's worked absolutely perfectly! Just make sure you get the correct software, I had accidently downloaded the software for a similar but possibly older programmer. Works as described, large list of compatible devices low cost
Plug in the USB cable, download the software and update the software automatically and it is ready to go. Choose the device and load the hex file hit program and within a minute the chip is programmed. can't ask for an easier system than that. It just works without a hassle. Excellent all-around reader/programmer.
This programmer works perfectly. I was able to quickly get it setup and started pulling data off old EEPROM's from the 80's. Then I burned some new ones.
