Solves a lot
I bought this one day out of total frustration. Making videos and posting online only to find out they look way different, too dark, washed out, too blue or just getting trapped with different camera angles that don't match in color or tone is so infuriating. Having just posted a video that got worse and more mismatched the longer I worked on it pushed me over the edge and I hit the internet, I wound up buying this AND didn't wait for it to arrive I also dropped $3500 on a pair of Boland monitors. The display pro came first and I calibrated my cheap-ass viewsonics with it and . . OMG they looked great and EXACTLY matched each other. Sure enough, the Bolands arrived real sturdy, solid steel, real bright, don't tilt but I can live with that but . . unbelievably . . . these monitors that the sales guy said would solve all my color issues, were totally mismatched!. Ran the display pro on them and yeah, now they are perfect - except they don't look that much better than the viewsonics - oh, and the stands cost extra, in fact each stand cost more than the viewsonic monitors did.

Great for photo print monitor calibration, but not good for video/television calibration.
The software support for this colorimeter is very limited compared to other colorimeters by the same brand. This is good for calibrating monitors for photo printing and some video work but the lack of support for this in calman and other TV calibration software makes it less functional. This is great for people looking for calibrating monitors to print but if you need to do color grading for video you’ll want a different model of X-Rite colorimeter so you can calibrate your television(s) for final testing post calibration. Since one calibrator should be able to do both I can’t recommend this specific product.

Worked like a charm for its condition lo...
Worked like a charm for its condition looks like it’s brand new. Didn’t come with software but used open source displaycal and worked like a charm without any issues.

UHD Calibration
A must have for calibrating the newer UHD displays of today. I have an older Xrite display 1 that has served me for many years. When I upgraded to a hi-def display, I was not getting an acceptable calibration with it. I bit the bullet and purchased the display 1 pro. The software is straight forward, and the device produces an accurate calibration which can been seen in the results.

Never used a monitor calibrator before... Totally worth it
I've always wondered what it would be like to use one of these. I 100% recommend it. Yeah it's kinda expensive, but it makes the colors way more accurate and enjoyable. Even if the monitor isn't expensive or meant to have high color accuracy, it makes it look very accurate.

If you are printing your photos, you need an i1 calibration sensor.
The software works perfectly, it is very simple to use. This is an absolute necessity for anyone editing photos for printing on their computer.

Can't work without it
Great product. Sophisticated and reliable. As a video editor I would not work without displays calibrated without this device. Best value out there for this application.
