Original and gorgeous Silkstone doll
This doll is the most elegant doll in the first year's releases of the Barbie Fashion Model Collection. She set the standard for the entire collection. The gown is made from the finest materials and has the finest workmanship I have ever seen. Her head has turned a little gray on all the dolls I have seen but it is not too noticeable. Couture vintage barbie for less than $160
A staple in any silkstone collection! The gown is just stunning, and the pose is well thought out and purposeful; her right arm is bent and her hand sits perfectly on the drape of the sash on the dress, holding it in place while the left arm supports the oversized fabric bow so that it stands up instead of flopping over. Posing one leg in front of the other brings out the frontmost panel of the mermaid dress beautifully. Doll was minty Box was not
