THE KEY TO A HAPPIER LIFE
This was a replacement for the handleset installed years before on a predrilled entry door. This unit was chosen because it has a keyway on the handle in addition to the separate deadbolt. The "smart Key" is a plus to which I can use my existing keys which will operate at other exterior doors like my garage side door. This eliminates having to bring all the locks to a locksmith to key alike. If you had your keys lost or stolen, you could remedy as soon as you return home. Possibly using the supplied keys that came with the unit.

Exactly what I was looking for.
This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a good quality handleset for my front door and this was it. I have Kwikset locks on my other doors so I know about their quality and ease of installation. This is a good heavy made product and I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought a used one
Love the look and strength. The bottom lock sticks from the inside. It is hard to turn. The keyed entry however works great.

Kwikset Montara and Juno Handleset
Installed the handleset for the front door. It feels more secured with double locks. Would recommend Kwikset smart key locks unit. You can use the old key to program for this lock.

Excelent materials, easy instalation
The handle on the lock set appears to be made of brass and is heavy, the lock components for it and the additional separate deadbolt are well made and function smoothly.

Kwikset Montara Single Cylinder Handleset w/Juno Entry Knob Featuring SmartKey
Excellent quality and it looks great on my new teak front door with sidelights and beveled glass.. Just sets everything off nicely !!

Not ready for prime time
Latch bolt has to be set up perfectly. Couldn't get the keypad to move the bolt so the keypad would not lock the door
