Leupold VX-2 3-9X40 110797
Leupold knows its product and this VX-2 holds true to the Leupold tradition. Clear, sharp and bright image to the edge of field that snaps into view without having to conduct a search for eye position. Snug focus but mechanically smooth and well-defined click adjustments on the turrets.. A big deal for me is the very low weight of this scope since my Gladius pup is already breaking the scales. Shock proof (another must). Extreme state-of-the-art weather and fog proofing on this model. It has a classic style that exudes of solid construction. You just can't do wrong with this one.
Great clear scope with rugged construction and great warranty. The finish is top quality, and the clarity is excellent. Dial is smooth and very functional. Unfortunately the scope I got seems to be out of adjustment. After several shots at 25 yards and not making paper, I walked up straight to the target and shot it from only 5 yards out, and the shot landed way to the left somehow. Leupold has cheapened the VX-2 to the point as to be indistinguishable from a VX-1
I received my Leupold VX-2 in today's mail, a major league disappointment. The gold ring has no embossing to indicate VX-2 and power as the older Leupold's had. What marking there was was on the bottom of the turret boss, unreadable when mounted with low rings. It just looks CHEAP! If I wanted a CHEAP scope I could have bought one rather than pay Leupold dollars for a scope that looks cheap. Performance and APPEARANCE is what Leupold USED to sell. There is nothing on this scope to distinguish it from a VX-1 , and it sure can't pass for a VX-3. If you care about aesthetics, don't buy this scope.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Clear and easy to use
For the price point I paid I am satisfied. The clicks for reticle adjustment are a little soft/mushy. The generous eye relief makes this an easy scope to get behind. Leupold VX 2 3x9
This is my third Leupold scope like this. I have used them from hot humid areas to high in the Rockies and have never had a failure.
