These qualities are the result of its innovative features, like the Hyper3 regulator. This is the part that controls the velocity of the paintball. Its factory setting is 145 psi, which produces a paintball speed of 285 feet per second. Because the Hyper3 has a smaller diameter, you can adjust the air flow in much smaller increments. This will give you the power to fine-tune the force behind your paintballs to fit the circumstances. The Dye DM8 paintball marker also has a micro low-pressure regulator that will give you more consistent shots out of the barrel. The Anti Chop Eye system on the Dye DM8 paintball marker replaces the old-style eye plates. The ACE is completely internal and self-cleaning. This has made it possible to make the body of the paintball marker narrower, thus reducing its weight. The ACE makes sure a paintball is securely lodged in the detent before the gun fires.
