EXTREMELY DRY
I've been searching for that ride cymbal with "THE" sound. You know what I'm talking about, loud stick definition with slight overtones and a good bell for rock music. Steely Dan, Rush, The Police and Sting. Steve Gadd, Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland and Omar Hakim. You know the sound..... This cymbal has great stick definition with NO overtones. Not a ROCK cymbal. Great for Jazz and lower volume music, but there is no cut to the sound. Nice sounding bell but rather small. This does have the "cool" factor in looks though! I've tried a K Heavy ride, not bad. It seems that my 80's A 21 inch Rock Ride is still the best I've found. It has everything I like except a little more overtones than desired. Maybe I'll try a Ping Ride next?

Amazing ride
Best ride ever. Very very dry so if u are looking for wash this isnt it. Very defined.

Killer Ride Cymbal
If you want a strong ping with very little wash, then this is the ride for you. Excellent bell as well. Highly recommended.
