This Line 6 Pod X3 Live guitar effects pedal can offer multiple effects to make it easy for you to deliver the performance of a lifetime every time you step on stage. This unit includes enormous model sets for guitars, bass guitars, and vocals. Combined, the POD X3 includes modeling for hundreds of musical components.This includes guitar and bass amplifiers and cabinets, vintage tube and modern preamp models, and sound effects. Among these are 28 guitar cab models, 22 cab, and 28 amp models for basses. The unit's designed to work with 78 different guitar amps, including large stacks using high wattage and small portable amplifiers. It includes modeling of six vocal preamps, as well as A.I.R. II cabs and mics, each with four mic options. This multi effects gear comes with 98 stomp box and studio effects. These even include v2.0 sounds like vocoder, dynamic delay, dimension, pitch vibrato, q filter, octisynth, pattern tremolo, and script phaser. You can combine different amps and guitars, both electric and acoustic, to get the maximum benefit from your Line 6 Pod X3 unit.Smart editing workflow pages can help you save new sounds as you create them and continue making changes without slowing down your creativity. With this versatile device, you can send your electric guitar signal through two complete chains simultaneously. Pre and post amplifier routing can provide for as many as nine simultaneous FX for each signal chain.Supporting this immense compatibility is equally immense connectivity. What this means is there is a myriad of ways to connect to the POD X3. Each features independent processing of tones. The box also includes a 1/4 inch instrument in with normal/pad switch and an XLR mic in with trim adjust. It has USB 2.0 built in for recording to a computer. It includes a stereo digital audio S/PDIF output, stereo 1/4 inch line outputs with an amp/line pad switch. It also offers balanced stereo XLR outputs, a 1/4 inch stereo effect loop, and a 1/4 inch stereo headphones output. The stereo XLR balanced line outputs, in particular, can help your sound stay consistent even during a live performance. The device also offers a Variax digital connector, a 1/4 inch expression pedal in, and MIDI in and out/thru ports. It even has a pedal 2 input for using two optional separately controlled expression pedals. They also have a 1/8 inch Jam Along CD/MP3 stereo input.While the range of available sounds you can create with this device can be impressive, so is its minimalist pedal design. The Line 6 Pod Live can make it easy to customize each performance with a simplified but versatile control panel. This features an expansive backlit LCD display. The Line6 Pod X3 Live uses 8 Chrome Amp Control Knobs to control most functions. These knobs are: Drive, Bass/Mid/Treble, Presence, Reverb, Tone Volume, and Master Volume.The Line 6 Pod Live multi effects guitar effect pedals include several different metal footswitches. These include a Tap Tempo/Tuner footswitch, a dedicated metal Dual Tone control footswitch, and five On/Off footswitches. Quality, functional, gig bag!
Bought this on a whim, because I needed a bag for a POD unti I had just acquired, but I also used it to transport a couple of pedals for a quick jam at a friend's house, and it worked out very nicely. The Velcro divider lets you put smaller items in there and still have them fit snugly, and the bag is easy to carry and made to be pretty durable. Quite a lot of bang for a little bit of bucks! Defender gig bag
This is a pretty good bag. The quality is excellent and it looks/feels like it will last quite a while. I bought this for my Line 6 Pod hd500x and it works "ok" for it. The bag could be a bit more snug so the Pod does not flop back and forth when you carry it. Length wise there is extra room and a spacer which allows you to carry some extra cables or a power strip, but I am talking about the snugness on the top and bottom. I may try adding an extra foam pad to see if this helps. I know this bag was not specifically made for the Pod so I can't fault it too much for not fitting 100%. Old unit, awesome to this day
For a nine year old effects floorboard, this is a great value for someone (like me) who wants several effects without spending $100-200 per pedal. Line 6 is generous with this one, I’ve only had it two weeks and there’s still plenty of sonic discoveries to be had. Can’t compare it to Line 6’s new units, but this one looks cool, sounds even better. Couldn’t care less that it happens to be all modeling, I can plug a bass in, then in the blink of an eye pick up the guitar without unplugging from the bass amp and still get a huge stellar amp tone for ultimate chunder.
