During the 1970s, Fender made legendary Stratocasters. Venerated by serious musicians, those 70s Strat models were made famous by greats such as Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Buddy Guy. Stratocasters are known for their ability to produce fat, low bass tones and jangly, ringing highs. This special-edition American Vintage FSR reissue recreates the best features of those great old-school electric guitars.The Fender American Vintage '70s Strat is the right choice for anyone who loves that '70s rock music sound. The neck is U-shaped and secured with a three-bolt Micro-Tilt plate that can be adjusted. The neck on this Strat features a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard to improve the comfort level while playing. The 21 vintage-style medium jumbo frets are also very user-friendly, making this an axe that is perfect for jamming in the garage or rocking out on stage. This Fender Factory Special Run series also has vintage-style single-coil Stratocaster pickups with a five-way switch and a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge. Accessories such as a whammy bar can be attached to the bridge to create a cool tremolo effect with each note you hit.This Strat is a solid-body electric guitar made of alder. Red alder is one of the mainstay Fender tonewoods, used in Strats since 1956. It is a lightweight, closed-pore hardwood with a very resonant and balanced tone. The headstock and fretboard are constructed from sturdy maple. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. Rosewood is a more oil-rich wood, and it stands up very well to the repeated touching required to play guitar.In addition to sounding like a classic, this guitar looks like one, too. The painted maple headstock features a vintage replica decal with the Fender logo. It features a three-ply pickguard that stands up to wear and tear. It is made with the classic parchment/black/parchment color scheme. The nickel chrome hardware used on this guitar is also impressive. The six-saddle period style bridge is equipped with a classic American Vintage single-coil pickup. A bullet truss rod adjustment nut is included as well.This American Vintage Stratocaster reissue also includes synchronized tremolo for expressive vibrato. The neck and middle pickups are in the same style as the one in the bridge. This single-coil construction is key to creating that hot-sounding 1970s tone. The tuning machines are Fender F-stamped. Control switches include master volume, Tone 1, and Tone 2. Fender USA Bullet strings serve as accessories to complement this setup nicely.These guitars are proudly made in the USA, meaning that the quality of these Stratocaster guitars is truly impressive. Close to perfect
If you like American Strats it's hard to go past this model. It's basically all the fun and cool-factor (large head stock etc) of a 70s model with a mush lower price tag. I also personally love the hard tail. It gives the guitar amazing sustain and a bit more body to the sound than a traditional Strat. You do loose out on the trem bar though. This thing plays beautifully (it's sure a pleasure to play - almost effortless), sound great and looks killer. Highly recommended.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Pleasantly surprised!
