Great to have on hand!
I use this shampoo religiously due to skin allergy and skin cancer history on my scalp. It is non-allergenic and contains salicylic acid - which stops inflammation and tumor growth in cancer. My dermatologist gave me two travel size bottles several years ago, but I gradually lost them by leaving them in hotel rooms. The bottles are great quality. Great for itchy scalp
My dermatologist recommended this for my itchy scalp (seborrheic dermatitis). My dermatologist gave me this shampoo regimen. First I shampoo normally with my regular shampoo, then I do a second shampoo, alternating every three days with this T-Sal one day, then the next (second) day I use prescription strength Nizoral (Ketoconazole 2%), and finally the third day regular Pyrithione Zinc shampoo for dandruff. Happy camper

Effective shampoo that is easy to apply

Magical ingredient to my ordinary but rigorously selected shampoo.

Works fairly well!
It does a good job at maintaining the oils/sebum production on my scalp down as I tend to have a build up every 2 days. Using this shampoo extends the need to wash every two days to four days instead. The itching has also subsided until the fourth day when I need to wash hair again. It works!
I believe that I have psorasis of the scalp. It has not been diagnosed by a dermetologist, but I had all of the symptons. Near the nape of my neck my skin was very itchy, red and scaly. I like the shampoo but it would be much less expensive if I could get when they have it at the local Walgreens.
