Good scanner
The HP Scanjet 5590 is a good duplex scanner, which you cannot get on an all-in-one printer/scanner without upgrading to a large commercial system. I am used to the Epson DS-510, so my review is biased by that scanner. The HP scans with good resolution, good color, and has the convenience of duplex scanning which is super -- set it and forget it without having to flip pages. It does take up quite a bit of my desk space as it is about the same size as a printer due to the option of the flatbed scanner. The scan speed at 600 dpi is fairly slow and it takes several minutes to scan a 5-page dual sided document. HP offers drivers for the Windows 10 OS, but the standard software would not work for me. Fortunately I found an HP forum which suggested using HP Scan and Capture software which worked great first time, and it also connected to my Epson flat-bed scanner. Compared to the $400 Epson DS-510 scanner the HP 5590 is fairly slow and large, but I will say that the software is much better. And my pricepoint for this used unit was only $55.00 in good condition, so definitely worth the money.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

This scanner is super slow, the software that came with it is obsolete but you can download the upgrade.
