The Blue book is not as compleat as the old Purple Book.
Good seller. The Old Purple book is much better. More photo's better diagrams more information. I lost my old book then bought a new book then found my old book. A lot of difference. I would try to find a older book. Both list as #3834500159 But when you need a book you need a book. Just my view. Oneoldminer

Gotta restart somewhere
Easy read to learn about some quick fixes and others that will not be able to fix, book kinda let's you know your comfort level on these. Nice to see a car that doesn't need a computer to see that the vehicle is running bad because the gas cap isn't on tight. Will help out more after each fix so I will feel better about the next one.

vw manual is acceptable
The pages are all black and white, including photos, so it makes the photos and diagrams difficult to see when they are pointing out specific directions and points of reference. Other than that it does give enough information to complete most projects, but clearer visuals would make it perfect
