No, No, No, Mr. Roboto!
This movie is not as well-known as it deserves. A tight, nerve-wracking little nasty look at what robots might be used for and become. Great acting and wild visuals. Too bad this director didn't make many more movies. This 2-disk set is wonderful! I've only had this on VHS before; so I'm overjoyed to have this great remastering. And the generous extras disk is very entertaining and informative. Well put together!!

If you had this movie on vhs try the dvd with the extra's.
Had another dvd version but it was a PAL version and I no longer have a player that will play PAL. This is a version that left in all the sex and gore that a good horror film is made . One reason I got this one was to get all the extra's on the 2nd disc, the making of,the interviews,the extra short films etc., You might have to raise the brightness on your tv for this one due to the fact that the film was shot in very dark surroundings- this might be necessary to see the scene's especially when the robot gets going. This movie has all the necessities for what I like in a horror movie-action,gore and a little sex thrown in.

An exceptional Science-Fiction film made with little resources, plus brief appearance and narration by Iggy Pop!
Though I haven’t viewed it yet, I did (several times) when it was released in theatres in 1990. I had to order a copy once, as it was never on the shelves of Video stores; I’m very glad I was able to order a copy through E-Bay, a definite improvement in quality of life for a film aficionado! Took a military reservist (who was concerned about being sent to the war in Iraq) to see it; Don’t think it cheered him up!
