Low cost, but features let it down
A couple of problems with this little fountain pump - no sponge filter which fair enough means does not block as quickly, but the mesh filter at the pump is coarser than the fountain head. This means in my pond all the little pieces of leaf etc get through the filter and block the head. Once the head is partially blocked the pressure lifts the variable length tube or even causes it to come off. Basically to use it I have to clean it each day. Good pump, which meets its specifications - unlike cheap chinese alternatives
Great pump which meets specs (unlike cheapo chinese ones), with a novel housing which makes it easy to clean and a decent length of quality cable. Hose lock Cascade 450.

Reliable product
Works well, reliable and very happy with this product in my smallish pond. After 5 years my old pump went. I bought this one and weirdly now my 🐸 have gone ! I buy this again
I bought this as a like-for-like replacement for a small pond. The pump being replaced has run continuously for many years and it therefore wasn't a surprise when it wore out. Mighty little pump
