A solid board for those wishing to re use older AM2 +CPUs , older DDR 2 memory in a dual boot configuration..

Great replacement for M2N78-LA (Violet) Motherboard.
Bought ASUS M3A78-CM motherboard to replace M2N78-LA that started to fail (see HP forum for well known chip issue). Worked with no issues but had to figure out F-Panel connection due to the difference in pin socket (horizontal vs. vertical). Check diagram at Re: m8530f desktop PC with a m2n78-la mother board doesn't s... - Page 20 - HP Support Forum - 181716 for idea and solution.
