Works perfectly but not worth the effort to install it.
I replaced my 1.9GB AMD with a 2.2GB there was a difference in speed but not a whole lot, was not worth the time and effort to completely strip the laptop inorder to install it, faster TL chips were very expensive and not worth buying.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

AMD Turion Review
This was my first time installing a CPU in a notebook. The finished product was well worth all of the work. Don't know yet
I don't have much to say about this yet. I bought it to upgrade my moms old Acer Aspire laptop, but haven't had an opportunity to do it yet. Other then that I can only say it was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. It came with thermal paste and seems to be in good condition. Nice Upgrade for old Acer
Had a single Core CPU running at 1.6 GHZ in my Acer laptop. This chip added a second core at 2.2 GHZ. My Acer--runs much faster. Note: putting in a chip like this requires an extensive disassembly/reassembly effort. You have to get to the MOBO. This is not a criticism of this chip it is just the way it is. Best cost effectiveness for Socket S1g1
I have an Acer Aspire 5532 and it was with an Athlon TL-36 20 GHz Single Core. I could play games with it, but it was so slow for everything else. Then I was searching compatbile CPUs to upgrade, and by checking the benchmarks, this one is superior to TL-66. The only one better than this is the TL-68, but it's very expensive to waste on an old laptop. So I installed this one, and no problems, Everything worked fine, and now it doesn't lag unless you're doing some very CPU or HDD intense task. I am very happy with it. It doesn't overheat because with the TL-36 the CPU was always at 100%. Now with this one, the CPU is around 8-20% and it only starts to become hot when you are playing. BRILLIANT
GREAT UPGRADE TO MY DATED ASPIRE 5517, OVER THE FACTORY SINGLE CORE 1.6GHZ TF-20. THIS THING GETS THE MOVE ON NOW, STILL SLOW IN COMPARISON TO MY 1ST GEN I5, BUT THAT IS ANOTHER STORY.
