The cache is a small memory pool that can store important data on the CPU. In place of the old front-side bus design, Intel has created a new architecture called Quick Path Interconnect. Finally!
After months of testing and letting it sit only to test again. CPU was never faulty, it was the motherboard I installed it in. Has been working for about 6 months without issue. CPU Installed in an EVGA x58 FTW3 Motherboard with Corsair H100i V2 120 mm liquid cooler.

the old mantra holds no longer

Great chip
Was able to OC to 4.2 on air first try. Was able to get it to 4.6 with higher voltage settings before temperatures became an issue. With better cooling I am sure this stable chip can go much higher.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Perfect
No issues with default clocks. I could even overclock it to 4.02Ghz while being somewhat stable.

There are newer chips coming out almost every day, but it is still a good chip.
