I was looking for a really good car bass amp in the early 1980's and was made aware of ZAPCO equipment by a local stereo shop. I like high end equipment that has high current drive that does not necessarily have high trumped-up WPC numbers. ZAPCO products are the best in my opinion. I have bought 3 different ones. The original one (M-80) has been mounted in the trunk of a black 65 chevy in hot Arizona for over 25 years and still gets the job done at driving a pair of 12" speakers in an iso-baric (sp?) arrangemant at 2 ohms. It doesn't get any better than that. I love ZAPCO amps.
