Great Classic Sci-fi movies.
All four of these movies are great. I saw them all when I was younger. I have a rather large collection of Sci-Fi movies and these were ones that I really wanted to have. Forbidden Planet and The Time Machine are the oldest of the four. Soylent Green and 2001 are a bit newer. All classic and all good in their own right. H.G. Wells is very well known for his Sci-Fi books that were turned into movies. I am not a film critic so I will not complain about this or that thing that only critics care about. I will say if you are a Classic Sci-Fi fan these are ones you will want to own so you can waqtch them over and over.

A GREAT LITTLE SET OF SCI-FI CLASSICS!
First of all this is not four movies crammed onto one or two discs. It is all four movies each one on its' own individual disc. With each one having all the bells and whistles. That is to say that all the movies have all of the bonus materials/special features. Both the picture and sound quality are excellent for all of them. And even the case is rather handsome. For the money you can not beat the value. If you are a science fiction aficionado, particularly a classic sci-fi aficionado, this box set of movies is a great deal.

Great for Sci-Fi Fans!
I've always loved the classic sci-fi films. Up until the late 60's, television only had 4 channels, including PBS. Then came cable. 13 channels... That was amazing and Saturdays & Sundays started carrying all the great classics of the 30's through present time... On rainy or snowy afternoons when we couldn't be outside, we had so many movie choices. This collection is a great set to have... Soylent Green, The Time Machine and Forbidden Planet are all entertaining. Anyone who likes Stanley Kubrick will find 2001: A Space Odyssey interesting. I'm glad that I've added this to my collection !!!

Four Classic Sci Fi Movies in a low priced set. What's not to like?
I wanted to add Forbidden Planet to my collection without spending much. Pleasant surprise to find 4 of my favorites in one set containing 2 DVD (2 movies on each). No frills, decent packaging, and most important, excellent quality for watching.

Sci Fi Classics - 4 great movies in one set
4 DVDs in one set, all terrific sci fi classics. Soylent Green, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Forbidden Planet, and one of my all time favorites, The Time Machine.

Great Movies. Great Price.
These classic sci-fi movies were great. They brought back many good memories of the past. I watched one after the other after I received them. Would highly recommend them.

Good bang for your buck!
Good entertainment - stars of yesterday - heston and Rod Taylor with sci-fi classic 2001 space odd. For the money, a good buy!

Fantastic set of movies
They are each wonderful science fiction stories and movies in their own right, so it was great to find them on one DVD.
