Replacement switch for a Chicago Power Tool Miter Saw
The switch will work as a replacement in the Chicago Miter saw I have, but this switch is wired differently than the original. Plus some physical rework of the saw's handle must be done to make this switch work.

Replacement chop saw switch
I used this to replace the crappy switch in my Harbor Freight chop saw. Had to cut away part of the handle to fit it in, but it works perfectly.

trigger switch
Good found but i had to modify the HF saw because the switch was a little bigger and stronger No biggie!

Excellent Part
This is an excellent replacement part for the switch on Harbor Freight Chop Saws (with slight modifications to the housing) as well as the other name brands.

Fixed my Chigago Electric 10 in. miter saw.
Used as replacement for a Chicago Electric 10 in. miter saw 98199, for which there are no parts available. I had to cut down parts of the plastic housing on the saw handle to fit and the wiring also had to be modified, BUT the saw is now working again! Saved over $100 by not having to buy a new saw.

As expected
The switch was as expected. I used it to replace Harbor Freights miter-saw switch, which is not available. I had to do some adjusting on the handle to make it fit. It works great.
