Peter Cushing (Star Wars) had already starred as Sherlock Holmes in Hammer's movie The Hound of the Baskervilles when, in 1968, he replaced Douglas Wilmer as Conan Doyle's great detective in the BBC television series. Cushing immediately fashioned his own portrayal of the illustrious figure and is credited with bringing a great authenticity to the role. Cushing as Holmes
Peter Cushing never gave a less than stellar performance. He made a great Sherlock Holmes. This is a TV show and has a "live" feel as opposed to a movie look but you will get over that quickly. Recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

A VERY GOOD HOLMES
