Gamers must navigate an intricate plot involving terrorist conspiracies and shadowy crime syndicates, and the choices players make have a direct outcome on the overall story. Though the two main characters are always working together, choosing to play as Miami police detective Law Martin will result in gameplay full of frantic car chases and intense shoot-outs, while selecting FBI agent Sara Starling sends players off to collect fingerprints or analyze mysterious evidence.
