Taito and Square Enix team up for their second "Extreme" take on one of gaming's most revered coin-op classics in Space Invaders Extreme 2. Colorful visuals and techno music once again create an up-tempo atmosphere as players blast rows of descending aliens, earning points and power-ups as they make their way toward "Fever Time" bonus rounds. Beating three rounds in a row lets gamers enter the special "Bingo" round, and conquering that round sends players to the fast-paced "Super Fever Time" mode where they can earn a variety of bonus items. The new "Time Attack" mode challenges gamers to beat each stage as quickly as possible, while those looking for human competition can wirelessly battle a friend in UFO-smashing head-to-head action.

Retro Fun Remixed
Compelling and engaging, just as the original was...fast and exciting action arcade game. Music and colorful presentation may not be everything to everyone, but really hard to criticize such and classic game remixed to provide additional gameplay options and a new look at a fun approachable game room classic...
