The correct tool for the job at hand: 4L60E TCC control valve upgrade/repair.
If you have a GM 4L60E transmission this is the Sonnax "special tool" you'll need to install the Sonnax upgrade TCC control valve. If you have a higher mileage transmission and are getting the P1870 OBDII code or, you want to upgrade your existing 4L60E to prevent the eventuality of this code ...you'll need this reamer to modify the valve body TCC control valve bore. The tool is a high quality item and works very well. I just got done doing this modification to my 4L60E. You need to ream the existing bore in order to install the Sonnax upgrade kits; either the 77754-03K or the 77754-04K. The "nose" of the reamer is what guides and stabilizes the rest of the reamer; the only area actually cutting the valve body is the center section of the bit. The "shoulder" acts as the stop to control how deep the ream cut is made. In addition to the reamer you will need a speed handle, a short "wobble" socket drive extension and a 5/8" socket to "chuck" the reamer. Proper cutting lubricant is a must; Sonnax recommends a product called Tap Magic which is what I used. Follow the included instructions and you should have no problems. There is general technical advice and considerations on the Sonnax website regarding the reaming of valve body bores ...good idea to review it ...it tells what to do if the ream ends up a little too tight or a little too loose.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
