not what I was looking for
a lot of people say in reviews that they love this edition, I do not. I find it lacking in the emotion that Satie should be played with, it sounds like old classical music, stodgy and disconnected, often played to technically, and too fast. Some of the newer releases of his works are played with more feeling, maybe some have more developed accompaniment that makes them sound more connected to modern times. I'm just saying I've heard releases I prefer over this one, and I personally wouldn't buy it again
