Wonderful Versatile Stereo Receiver - works great
Onkyo is a great product - hooked to Polk Speakers - Sounds Great - Great versatility for a straight stereo receiver I am using to receive output from a 100 cd changer which I've wanted to years - I have approx 1200 CDs - some of which I haven't heard in years!!! Old School, Always!

Impressed again
2nd 8555 I have had, first one died on me and replaced it with a Harmon Kardon unit which did not seam to sound as good. the HK died and I bought this on hoping it would work. Once alive it confirmed that it was superior to the HK, you can hear every instrument being played during a song, even the gentle sounds in the background.
