Plastic palette
Sadly WN has gone the way of most companies by switching from metal fabrication for their watercolor palettes to injection molded plastic materials. Plastic is plastic and it almost always looks and feels cheap. This set can't help but have a toy-like feel to it. Metal WN palettes are now collectible and sell for premium prices on EBAY. I wish they would at least offer a metal option even if they must charge more than they do for the plastic version. The WN Cotman watercolors themselves are a decent student level product. Fits in the Pocket!
A fantastically designed watercolour field box. It's tiny and fits in your pocket. While it is expensive its plastic construction doesn't feel cheap. I think this will take a lot of punishment. It is a very clever design packing so much into a small space. With a nice sketchbook and a fineliner or pencil you're good to go. Cute and functional
Can't wait to take it out and about! I've wanted this forever but never wanted to pay the art store price. Got a great deal on this so I finally splurged and got myself a post-Christmas present.
