Nice upgrade at a great price!
I read several online reviews about Samsung's Evolution Kit. It basically is suppose to upgrade your TV to the next years newer model without the expense. However, at the original retail price of $299.00 I would have been greatly disappointed, but I was able to find one here on ebay for considerably less. My TV already had some of the features built in, but the addition of the Evolution Kit with its built in quad core processor and 4GB's of ram makes the interface for the apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. more pleasant to look at and allows you to download the latest versions so the interface is similar to that of newer devices like an Xbox One, Roku, or PS4. Watch the version number!
Only after purchase did I manage to find out that the different regions of the world have different versions of this product that are not compatible. The ZA version is for the USA and doesn't work in Europe. The XC version for Europe won't work in the USA. So although no one appears to state the produce version it's very important. Much needed upgrade
The evolution kit has made the smart TV functions much moe user friendly and functional. The slow speed and difficulty in navigation of the original hub features made it nearly unusable. The smart hub is now fast and easy to manuvuer. The new remote is also a significant upgrade, though I still need to use my cable remote for certain functions. Very disappointed

Just like buying a new TV
