Liked it so much, I bought more.
Most "universal" RF remotes provided with satellite receivers, etc. have only limited programability. There is typically that last unit that is not "covered" in the programming codes. Even if covered, the unit does not have RF capability. Prior solutions, such as infrared "repeaters", require an infrared receiver and infrared transmitter, which lacks the flexibility of true RF control. The remote must have line of sight access to the infrared receiver. I had tried the Radio Shack "pyramids" with only limited success. So far, this is the best solution to the "problem" that I have found. Well thought out and implemented. Paired with a "learning" remote, I can control my entire entertainment center (which output is distributed throughout the house) from anywhere in the house. Bought one for a friend a while back. Just bought another to give me "upstairs/downstairs" access and control of equipment in my utility room as well my living room.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Needs a bit more engineering…
Bought this unit to be used for my Logitech harmony 200. It did not work. Even though you see the red light blinking, the unit itself does not emit any signal. Measured this with a IR detector which I have to test remote controls. I also did try with the attached IR remote extender w/o any luck. I also tried it with a Logitech Harmony 300. It also did not work. Same symptoms as described above. First I thought the unit to be defective. To make sure I tried it with my Samsung TV/Blue ray remote control. It DID work. This remote extender did everything what is supposed to do with this Samsung Remote control. Conclusions: I think this remote extender does work. However it does not work with what I wanted it to work with. My Logitech Harmony remote controls. Great product.
This is my second unit. Using this to control the DVR for my security cameras, which is located in my basement from my second floor master bedroom. Quite a distance but works flawlessly. Exciting Item
I was excited to see this item when I looked for a tv remote extender. I did not know such a thing existed. I received the item and it performs, wow, perfectly! The item is of good quality. The instructions are simple and totally complete for every detail. As the instructions specify the possibility, my first test of the item did not work well. Stable, and accurate
