A different type of mouth guard
I never liked any mouth/teeth guard in the past. I had an expensive 1 made from my dentist. I'll never do that again. It cost me a lot of $ & then in the end, when I didn't use it much, it shrank & I could no longer use it. These Placker's are good because it's almost like you do not have a guard in. Take the bite out!
I use these regularly to protect my teeth! They do the job and are inexpensive, easy to clean and unobtrusive. I prefer them to the custom made piece that cost several hundred dollars and think they protect my teeth better! A gotta have grinder sleep aid
I have used this product before. I hunted them down because the pharmacy I found them at stopped carrying them and started using their own off brand (they were terrible). These fit in two different positions comfortably. Top teeth or bottom teeth. If you have a CPAP and are a grinder then you will definetly find these a welcome tool. No more hurting jaws and they are out of the way of the face mask. I can get about 3-4 weeks worth of use out of mine. Love this brand name item! Can get more than a few nights out of it...
I've used the Plackers Mouth Guard for about a couple of weeks. It takes some getting used to. It's a little thicker than I had imagined but it probably needs to be that thick to do the job. Being a one size fits almost all it does slide around a bit. I'll see how I feel about it after I finish using all the mouth guards before deciding whether to buy more or have a permanent mouthguard fitted for me. Tiny. Don't offer much coverage.
Based on the picture, they looked like the standard anti grind/clench teeth guards, but the actual items are tiny and there is only a 2" x 1/2" strip on either side. Reduced headaches and tooth wear
My tension headaches have reduced significantly, while using this product. I also experience less sensitivity in my teeth because of the reduced grinding. What a major benefit for better restorative sleep, reduced pain and the overall comfort of my daily life. Highly recommend. Design change made them useless
I used to buy the original version at the dollar stores. They were great and would last for weeks even though they are advertised as a one time use. My teeth are super pleased
Previously I have used the product where you have to put it in boiling water to make it soft and then place it into your mouth. So, when I first opened the package and saw these small little things, I was disappointed. But, since I bought them I was going to try them. Next morning, I loved them. For me, positioning the product on my top teeth worked best. They stay in place and being small you hardly notice them. After a week, I noticed that they had realigned my jaw so that my upper and lower teeth came together much better. It says to dispose of the item after three days and use a new one. I've been using the same one for over a week. I just run water over it every morning before I put it away. I'm now sleeping better and my jaws arn't aching when I wake up in the morning.
