Age???
I've purchased these in the past, and was surprised when these arrived and they were the really large ones. I thought they had stopped making them a few years ago. I didn't see an expiration date so I placed them but I have seen a few live water bugs which hasn't happened in the past. I suspect these may have been old and lost some of their effectiveness. WORKS
Roaches are just a fact of life no matter how clean you are. Bring home groceries and you will get them in bags of potatoes or just about anything other than frozen foods. I live in the deep south where we have the large flying cockroaches. I remember Combat being the maker of roach traps that my mother always bought. So, I got some of the large traps, and since placing them in various areas of my kitchen, I haven't seen anymore roaches. They work within days.
After Hurricane Sandy our neighborhood was beset by giant flying roaches and of course some ended up in our house. Within a week of putting these bait stations around the areas where we saw them, no more giant roach surprises.
