Not completely silent, but very quiet and moves lots of air
This thin assembly fits in many places other fans will not. When installed next to a video card, it drastically drops running temperature under heavy load. When installed as a case fan, it will fit in SFF and HTPC cases between the motherboard and the case shell where there is not enough clearance to fit in a standard-thickness fan. For a fan this thin, airflow and SPL are very respectable. The fans will install in a standard hole pattern with standard fan screws or rubber plugs with no hassle. Plus, they connect right up to standard mobo headers without need for an adapter cable.

Works well, currently using it to cool my gpu.it keeps it cool by a few degrees.
